Bye bye vent Hello bi-pap
Today was a good day Skylar was taken off of the vent support and placed on bi-pap. Bi-pap is alot smaller as you can see from the pictures. And Sky took very well to it. With any luck Skylar will be out of the PICU Wednesday or Thursday.

We all know you're a strong little guy....you show 'em Skylar!! I'm hoping that by the time we get back from North Dakota you'll be home but if not I'll come visit!! All you've been through and you've kept a smile on your face....I know it's cause you're surrounded by so much love!! Sheila and Keith, your strength astounds me, bless you both. I think of you all every day.
I was checking the blog to see if Skylar has moved out of the PICU! Hopefully someday, he can forget about his days here in the PICU, but I will surely not forget him! He will surely be missed! He sure is a special boy! I wish you all the very best as this journey continues! Tell Skylar I said "hello"! I have a lot of days off, but I will sure find you when I return! Take care! Nurse AMANDA
