My Grandma

My Grandma passed away this evening, she was an amazing lady, and she will be missed dearly, I loved having her up to the house when ever my dad could bring her, and she loved to come visit. I will miss her dearly, but I will see her again one day until then I love you Grandma tell grandpa I miss and love him too!!!!

Learning the Pledge of Allegiance

Skylar was so taken with the flag today while we were outside that I thought why not start to learn the Pledge of Allegiance, I think he did pretty good for never saying it before.

Its so nice out, we have had a few dark clouds float by, one was enough for Sky to get a little worried about, but we didnt get rained on. And this time out on the deck Sky got to see an airplane (he loves that)

on a sad note my Grandmother had a massive strove on Thursday and she will be leaving this earth soon, I find some comfort in knowing the relationship I had with her and all the time I got to spend with her and with my family. She is an amazing women.

Ive tried several times to post a blog but for some reason or another I didnt get to finish. Were all great and looking forward to summer break in a few weeks, getting outside and seeing some of what this life is all about. Our weather has been wonderful, and Sky has been enjoying his time in the sun with me out on the deck. I found him a stroller, now I have to save up for it, I cant wait to get it, his power chair is great, but until we get a lift for the van a stroller would be so much better for getting everyone out and about in.

the reason why we have no power

we have had such a great time the past few days. Keith's sister and husband came over from North Dakota for the BBQ and party on sat, they were here for 4 days. They did a little shopping with Keith and went to see the Pacific ocean. We had a Birthday BBQ sat with over 25 people hear, what crazy fun, we said our byes to the last few people around 10:00pm, what a great day of eating, visiting and laughing.

Keith's sister and husband left yesterday, and our power has been out for over 18 hours. Sounds like it will be back on sometime today, but no guarantees. Thank God for he generator.

Conversations with Sky. power just goes out Sky "WHAT HAPPENED?" me "powers out" Sky "but what happened?" me "a tree crashed our power line, so now we have no power" Sky "oh, its ok mama, Ill fix it"
