Why I Love Yo Gabba Gabba

One thing I love and enjoy so much is hearing Skylar sing, this Yo Gabba Gabba show that NICK has on is great, the creatures are a little strange, but Sky LOVES them!!!!

Tonight Skylar got to visit with Veronica, she is just a doll and the kids had so much fun holding hands, chatting and playing with some Yo gabba gabba toys. In the morning we will all get together at either the zoo or aquarium (depending on the weather) I cant wait, it was so nice to meet another family in person who lives with SMA.

Crazy past few days

Yesterday was my Grandmas funeral, we packed up and drove almost 2 hours to go, Sky did great. Other then it being a little too warm inside for him, he only got upset a little because he wanted to go out side. He didnt know many people there so he was happy to see Grandpa and Grandma. It was a beautiful service. I saw family members I have not seen in years, so it was good to see everyone.

Fixed it

I was finally able to adjust Skylars head gear for his power chair today, boy what a mess, but its all working now as it should be, for a test drive we scooted around the house and then went out onto the side deck and played with the dogs.

we loaded up the power chair this afternoon and headed to town, we took Sky to the local dollar store, where he was SO cute, he said "hi" to everyone, picked out a balloon and lots of toys. After that we went for a walk down to DQ for some ice cream, he did such a great job of driving, he even got out of the way when a car was behind him. It was a pretty good outing, except for his head rest, that thing was not supporting his neck and head like it should, but other then that we had fun!!!
